The adventure started at the end of the working day on the 10th July with press collected from work and taken to Paddington, where they were greeted by Michelle from the B2B Media team to embarked on the first part of the journey heading to London Heathrow on the Heathrow Express.

Following a short flight into Glasgow, the group were taken to the Lodge on Loch Lomond, checked into their boutique style rooms where each guest had been gifted a selection of Parajumpers goodies including a brushed metal flask, caps and individually specially selected Parajumpers jackets  and treated to a delicious array of sharing plates, including locally sourced produce along with a selection of night caps from the bar and speciality teas. The next morning following breakfast, Parajumpers president Cristina Paulon presentedthe press with a short insight into the brand. The guests took the opportunity to try on additional pieces from the collections and learn a little bit more about both the brand and the craftsmanship that goes into each garment.

A post presentation walk down to the shore gave the guests the perfect opportunity to debut their new jackets, with many of them wearing them throughout the day. The overcast and slightly drizzly weather had unfortunately disabled the seaplane that we had chartered, however, the short walk to the village of Less allowed the B2B Media team to look into alternative activities.

A delicious lunch at the Loch Lomond Arms, where guests devoured dishes including fresh, local oysters, handmade lamb burgers, washed down with delicious Prosecco, which gave an opportunity for Cristina to share her expertise of Prosecco with the group.

After lunch the group went back to the pier of Luss and were taken on a 90 minute private speed boat tour of the Loch. The speed boats took us across the various parts of the Loch and we looked out for local tourist sites, which include the abandoned house of Lady Colquhoun who famously introduced wallabies to the region. Following our tour of the Loch, which left us all feeling rather exhilarated we went back to the Lodge and had a little down time in preparation of heading out for dinner.

The group took 2 cars across to the Glengoyne Distillery, where we learnt about the history of the Distillery and the Glengoyne brand, which remains family owned and has evolved to be one of the most successful producers of whiskey in Scotland. Throughout the private tour we were given an insight into the processes involved in making whiskey and the specifics of the Glengoyne products (which we can assure you are delicious!).

After the tour we were treated to canapĆ©s and a dram, in advance of sitting down to a beautiful dinner in the house on the Distillery, with paired whiskeys, champagne and even, the opportunity to cheer on England in the World Cup semis (which they sadly lost, but this didnā€™t dampen our spirits!).

The dinner proved a perfectly fitting way to end our mini-Highland adventure which perfectly resonated with the Parajumpersā€™ DNA and was hugely appreciated by all who attended.
